Aren't You Thankful That.....

... attraction isn't always based on youth and beauty?
... love can come at any age?
... desire doesn't have an expiration date?
... this wasn't a frontal shot?

aww, you didn't tell us you were both so darned cute! (just kidding, I am assuming those aren't you, I pictured Lash as much taller!) It gives us hope doesn't it?

That is so lovely!
Both sets of my grandparents were still deeply in love and achieved over 50 years of marriage, and it was truly death that parted them... I only remember 1 set of great grandparents, and they too were only separated by death in old age; the other great grandparents were female, and remained alone, after my great grandads were killed in action in the war....
In fact, I am the first in all our known family to be divorced...
Don't recall any of MY oldies being photographed nude, though! LOL...brushed cotton/flannel full length nighties were the order of the day!!!!

This is a lovely post, although I have to admit I am glad it wasn't a frontal shot!
But I hope my hubby and I are still that much in love when we are fighting gravity, with gray hair and wrinkled skin!

Thanks for sharing...

This is a beautiful picture. But it does bring up the question...who is behind the camera?

I love that photo! It clearly shows that age doesn't prohibit us from being sexual beings!

Big Hugs,

p.s. I hope that you are feeling better Meow :-)

Thanks for the comments! No, it isn't Lash and Meow at the Beach! (big grin) Maybe someday, but we're not quite wrinkly enough yet! I do love the idea that we will still have that spark when we are older - much older! And I hope all of you spankos have it, too! Meow

As a so-called senior citizen, I loved the photo. What's the old line about the white haired guy saying there's snow on the roof and a fire in the furnance.
