Happy Halloween????

This is what we woke to this morning - with more on the way!  It looks more like Happy New Year!  At least we have plenty of food, nowhere to go and a gas fireplace in case the electricity fails.

Enjoy autumn wherever you are!

Meow,

It's beautiful!! You are so lucky. I was raised in snow country but moved when I married Wil. I remember the thrill of waking up to find that silently overnight the world had been blanketed in white.

Enjoy your cuddle time!

Beautiful to look at, but a pain to shovel. We are still enjoying leaves, which are bad enough to deal with.

Hugs,
Hermione

Gosh that is a lot of snow really early. Thank goodness you have an experienced approach to deal with it.
More on the way must be a concern too. All the best and please be carefull.
Sincerely, fab

Janet, I do love it if I "haven't anywhere to go" as the song says.

Hermione, This should melt before I have to do any shoveling - I hope!

Fab, We've had a few snows already (@ 8000 ft. elev.) but this is the first big one.

s. I may need it soon!

Ronnie, Our family from the US Midwest say it's a beautiful autumn there, too.

Laurie, We usually have mild winters here, but these occasional big snowfalls can come anytime from October to May - but usually in the spring!

Hugs to all, Meow

Really nice. I hope someday to live in the mountains.

That snow is beautiful, and I envy it even if it's early. It looks like perfect mountain snow, not the wet/icy/slush/mixed/re-freeze stuff we tend to get here because we're on the coast. *sigh* I'm really not looking forward to winter.

Enjoy the beauty!

It looks and sounds idyllic, Meow, but obviously thats from the viewpoint of being on holiday with it, and being able to stay indoors and sit by a lovely roaring logfire!!! I love snow, but unfortunately extreme weather temps make Daveys condition worse, so thats why he would be so much better off with me here in the UK, where we are having a lovely warm autumn! I was out in my tshirt yesterday!
Hugs, xxxx Daisy xxxx

Meow,

I'm soooooo jealous!! I love the winter season and can't wait for it to arrive in Kansas. Guess I better get my leaves raked before we get to that point though, huh? Take care.

Meow: I grew up in snow country but we don't get any down here in Florida. Good weather for staying inside and cuddling but not much for shoveling and driving.

That's a beautiful picture, though. Like a Currier and Ives Christmas card.

And, Meow, I posted your question about men on your blog. We'll see if it gets much of a response.
