Hiking and Spanking

Lash and I went on a hike this morning.  It was 4.8 miles
and not too strenuous, but it reminded me
of the similarities between hiking and spanking.

I look forward to it with great anticipation.
At first it's comfortable and enjoyable.
Next it becomes uncomfortable.
Later it becomes downright painful!
Then I really wish it could be over!!
When it's over I look back on it fondly.
The next day I want to do it again!

Am I nuts or what??

I have no doubt some would call you nuts. But I don't think you'll find anyone here that will! I understand what you are saying completely! And you said it very well.

Hugs,
PK

Yep. But it's a shared affliction! :)

PK, I guess we're all nuts together!

Sara, You're right, Lash was just as sore as I was after the hike - but not after a spanking!

You know, its a funny thing, I feel the same about exercise! First its great, then its sore, and then I just want it over, but the high I have from it after - even though its an exhausted but contented ouchy high, makes it so worth it! Love it!

Yup, You are right; however, give me a spanking rather than a hike any day!

PK, Sara & Daisy, Thanks for commenting. Exercise is always a pain, literally! But I love to hike! Today's hike was magical! Meow

I love hiking but haven't done much of it for a while. I read Lash's blog and sounds like it was beautiful despite the hard exercise...hum..He didn't mention the spanking... must have slipped His mind...lol.

Hugs, Lady

Hiking and spanking! Always wanted to combine the two, but never had the chance.

Wow, never thought about hiking like that before - however I completely get it now and in no way think your nuts.

In fact I think it is quite intriguing the similarities apparently, and am looking forward to my next hiking trip because of it!

So thank you for sharing the wonderful imagery...

hugs

A lot of things that are good for us are like that!!! :) There's truth in "no pain, no gain."
