For a long time, Lash has used mostly his hand for spanking with just a 'touch" of the strap and a tiny sample of the silicon spoon. Now he's thinking about getting a tawse which everyone says is very stingy but the feeling doesn't last long.
So, I'm asking for your input about implements for:
Delicious sting?
Nasty sting?
Comfortable thud?
Painful thud?
Long lasting tingle/burn?
Little or no bruising?
Marks to display proudly?
Discipline that means business?
If you have a favorite or a spawn-of-Satan that you hate I'd like to know what they are.

I don't know about proudly; usually I only end up marked if I have a discipline session...so to be proud of that would earn me more!!! but, for marks, and really mean ones, and also an implement that stings like f**k without making a SOUND, look no further than a net curtain cord, .... you know, the sort that is a wire spring type thing, encased in tight plastic tubing with a hook at each end to fix the curtain up...folded in half, it makes a sort of loop and it leaves weals like you'd never believe.
Discipline that means business? Any/all the above, when discipline was the intent....

i reccommend a leather paddle...wonderful sting and for punishment lexan paddles hurt but aren't unbearable

Yes lots of choices. For me -
Delicious sting - Hand
Nasty sting - The Loop, Wooden ruler, Twigs (you probably have seen them, they are often used for decorative purposes in vases
Comfortable thud - Rose Paddle from John, Leatherthorn paddles, very well made
Painful thud - Bathbrush
Long lasting burn - The Loop
Little or no bruising - Riding Crop
Marks to display proudly - Don't know about proudly. I do sometimes like to see marks after a spanking so I would say Cane
Discipline that means business - Anything could be used for a discipline - Cane, Belt, Riding crop.
Recommend Leather Paddle, mmm lovely.
Don't recommend The Loop, nasty sting and leaves marks

We have an American Tawse from this place. Worst sting ever.
It's my least favorite and my husband's most favorite!
I have several friends who have leather things from here and everyone was really satisfied with theirs. He'll even customize things for you. Just email him :)

Sorry I'm so late in commenting. I love/hate a short bungee cord. It hurts, oh boy does it hurt, and it raises a welt right away, but the welt fades by day 2. Submitting to someone else wielding a bungee is an exercise of pure trust. It requires a light touch and control, but can be delicious. I also have a big oak paddle I got at a university Greek store... you know, for sororities and fraternities. It required a lot of sanding, which I enjoyed. It delivers serious sting and thud. Bungee and big paddle are both for special occasions, though. Flex rulers are fun and surprisingly ouchy for everyday use.
